I don’t know about you, but I was conditioned from a very early age, to always step up and work my hardest for the projects, visions and dreams of everyone else around me. I was really good at! In fact, it was a big part of my false sense of identity, the source of my self worth.

I always said “yes” and dutifully stepped up to lead, organize and coordinate it all. The saddest part is, that even when I knew it was too much, for my own well being, I felt guilty and bad for even considering saying “no”. “Who did I think I was?”

Supporting everyone and everything else around me was ingrained in me, a given, an understood obligation, responsibility and duty. I was groomed and conditioned, as many women in my culture are, to always put the other first.

To say “no” felt like I was dropping the ball, not fulfilling and living up to my duty and role, as daughter, mother, wife, and well, you name it! Can you relate? I was brilliant at it, a star, an amazing “good girl”, a shining example of raging codependency in its most dysfunctional glory!

Recovery from a disempowered, addictive, codependent way of living and being isn’t easy. When we finally choose to put ourselves first and commit to the deep healing work required to be free; we risk losing friends, partners, family members and community. It can be scary. We find ourselves way out of our comfort zone. And, it’s absolutely worth it!

If this sounds familiar to you and you’re looking for a safe, loving space and container in which to empower and free yourself this year I highly encourage you to consider enrolling in my group program!

The reason I’m sharing all this is because many of my clients come to me facing these same issues. They’re at a breaking point and just simply have no choice. Their deep longing to step fully into their power and soul vision is too great.

They long to feel wild, magical, authentic and free!
It’s time to put ourselves first.
We need help and loving support to heal.

Breaking free and birthing ourselves into our power and light is a powerful initiation and birthing process that’s not easy to do alone. As we peel back the layers of who we are not, our egos and minds respond with fear, grasping to keep us in our familiar stories, patterns and old selves, that, as unhealthy as they may be, feel strangely safe and comfortable. It’s challenging work.

If this sounds familiar to you and you’re looking for a safe, loving space and container in which to empower and free yourself this year I highly encourage you to consider enrolling in my group program!
